Elverhoj
Danish Heritage and Fine Arts Museum
Located on a quiet street two blocks from the
shops and galleries of Solvang, the Elverhoj is filled with old
photographs, artifacts, lithographs, arts and crafts, period rooms
and friendly docents to acquaint you with them. Open Wednesdays
- Sundays, 1 PM - 4 PM.

Christian Andersen Museum
Located upstairs in the Book Loft building, 1680
Mission Drive. Here the multitalented father of the modern fairy
tale is accessible through his books, sketches, paper cutouts,
silhouettes and colleges.

Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum
320 Alisal Road, Solvang Ca 93463
The motorcycles in the museum are from the private collection
of Virgil Elings. He has been collecting motorcycles for 2 decades.
The collection is quite broad with something for everyone, ranging
from a 1910 FN to the present, and across all makes.
Weekends 11:00 am - 5:00 pm and by appointment mid-week Drop-ins
may contact the management office and we will be happy to open
for you. Admission is $5 per person Children under the age of
10 are admitted for free with parent or guardian.

Western Wear Museum
Features all manner of western gear plus clothing
design ideas from such Silver Screen cowboys as Hopalong Cassidy,
Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. Open by reservation only.

Santa
Ynez Valley Historical Society Museum & Carriage House
The museum features eight rooms of Valley history
and memorabilia, from Chumash Indian implements, to ranch guns,
saddles and reatas, to the clothing and furnishings brought by
European settlers. Next door, over 30 carriages, wagons, stagecoaches
and buggies sit quietly, recalling an era when the horse was king.
